Betty, a cherished member of the Oakwood Women’s Club, passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and a life richly lived. Known for her gracious hospitality and irresistible baked treats-especially her signature chocolate scottie dog cookies, peanut butter cookies and her M&M cookies decorated with the M&M's of the season made every gathering feel like a celebration.
She delighted in shopping trips and escapes to Branson with her husband and family, where her joyful spirit was always on display. Her love for gardening was evident in her flower beds, bursting with color and care. A devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Betty knew more than just scores-she followed the stats, the stories, and the heart behind the team.
But above all, Betty treasured time around the table with family, where stories flowed, cookies disappeared, and love was abundant.
Her presence was a gift, her memory a comfort, and her legacy a reminder to savor life’s simplest pleasures.
