Betty Ruth Burch, 81 of Hannibal, died at 1:52 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2012, in Hannibal Regional Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal. Rev. Steve Barker will officiate. Burial will be in Grand View Burial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Mrs. Burch was born on November 18, 1930, in Hannibal, a daughter of William A. and Loraine H. Hall Beadle. She was married in Hannibal on September 5, 1948, to William Edward Burch and he preceded her in death, August 21, 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Paula Kae Case and husband Frederick, of Quincy, Ill., Lori Ann Zenker and husband, Steven of Godfrey, Ill.; five grandchildren, Brandon Eugene Case and wife Rachel, Jordan William Case, Brieanne Leigh Case, Meghan Christine Zenker and Adam Paul Zenker; several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lillian Hamman and Wilma Withrow. Betty was a devoted member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. The Burchs enjoyed walking together and fishing together. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Pallbearers will be Frederick Case, Brandon Eugene Case, Jordan William Case, Steven Zenker, Adam Paul Zenker and Al Kennett. Honorary pallbearer will be James Enlow.
