Stacie Lynn Johnston, 48, of Hillsboro, MO passed away at 12:22 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at her home with her loving family by her side.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Cedar Hill Lutheran Church, 8600 Silver Lane, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Pastor Dr. David Bilgreen will officiate.
Visitation will be held 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, at Cedar Hill Lutheran Church.
The family is being served by the Smith Funeral Home& Chapel, of Hannibal.
Stacie was born on April 9, 1970, in Olathe, KS, the daughter of Michael M. and Melanie (Kueker) Drennon.
She was united in marriage to Chris E. Johnston on January 8, 2005, in Hillsboro, MO.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Johnston of the home, mother, Melanie Duncan of Fenton, MO; father, Michael Drennon of Kansas City, KS; children, Trey Adam Bax of Fenton, MO, Tori Lynn Bax of Hillsboro, MO, Nicholas Wayne Johnston of Hannibal, MO, Amy Marie Johnston and Rebecca Lynn Johnston of St. Louis, MO; siblings, Tobey A. Stuckmeyer (Loren) of High Ridge, MO, Michelle S. Richardson of Cedar Hill, MO, David Duncan (Karen) and Brad Duncan (Casandra) of Imperial, MO; grandchildren, Calleigh Johnston, Caiden Canania-Bax, Aleah West, and Zain West, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Stacie was preceded in death by her step-father Donald Duncan and grandson, Easton West.
Stacie proudly served as police officer for De Soto and later worked as a safety coordinator for UniGroup until her retirement due to her health.
A beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, Stacie enjoyed the time she spent with her family. She enjoyed family gatherings, vacationing to the beach, or just that simple phone call to say "I love you". Stacie cherished her family and her legacy will be remembered by the love she embraced upon them.
Stacie was a faithful member of Cedar Hill Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading her daily devotions, attending to her flower gardens, boating and swimming in the lake and river. But most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be TJ Frederick, Shane Frederick, Adam Kueker, Haley Stuckmeyer, Sam Stuckmeyer and Zack Winkle.
