Lillian "Jackie" Jacquline Lantz, 85, of Hannibal, Mo. passed away at 8:32 AM Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal. Pastor Mark Burkey will officiate. Burial will be in the Emerson Cemetery in Emerson, Mo.
Visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
Jackie was born April 4, 1930, in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Hurley and Cassie Holler Morgan. She was married to Paul Lantz in Lawrence, Ks. on February 1, 1980. He survives her.
Other survivors include two daughters, Michelle Cunningham (Jeremy) of Hannibal, Mo. and Vicky Lucas (Ronnie) of Palmyra, Mo.; one brother, Hurley Morgan (Mary Sue); fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, nine great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lantz was preceded in death by two brothers, eight sisters and 1 great great-grandchild.
Lillian enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting and baking, she loved making friendship cake and cherry delight. If Lillian wasn't in the house crocheting or baking she could be found outside taking care of her roses. She also enjoyed spending a quiet day with her three birds and her dog, Abbey. Mrs. Lantz was a Lutheran by faith.
Pallbearers will be Jay Spencer, Gary Douglas, Ronnie Lucas, Festus Rhoades, Randy Crenshaw and Jeremy Cunningham.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mrs. Lantz's grandsons and nephew's.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses, in care of Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
