Donald Eugene Jennett, 76, of Hannibal, Mo. passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Cemetery in Withers Mill.
Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
Donald was born on June 8, 1940, in Palmyra, Mo. the son of Robert Eugene and Emma Ann (Tate) Jennett.
He was married to Rosa May Wickell on March 30, 1963, in Hannibal, Mo. She survives him.
Others survivors include one son, Kevin Jennett of Hannibal, Mo., two daughters, Penny Lyle (Joseph) of Quincy, Ill., and Sheila Jennett of Hannibal, Mo., two sisters, Charlotte Barickman of Palmyra, Mo., and Sharon White (Charles) of Palmyra, Mo., four grandchildren, Nicole Roberts (Ryan) of Hannibal, Mo., Michael Yakes of New London, Mo., Krista Saben (Timothy) of Hannibal, Mo., and Tiffany Yakes of Hannibal, Mo., five great grandchildren, Mikey, Paisley, Noah, Ariya, and Gemma, three step great-grandchildren, Tayler, Harley and Bradley, and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jennett was preceded in death by two brothers Glen and Raymond Jennett.
Donald worked at Center Line Industries in Saverton for 18 years before retirement. He enjoyed fishing at the bay, hunting, collecting tools, going to yard sales and collecting, buying and selling antique cars. The biggest love of Donald's was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jennett was a Baptist by faith.
Pallbearers will be Carl Tate, Dennis Tate, Jim Tate, Larry Tate, James Berry, and Christopher Berry.
Honorary pallbearer will be Charlie White.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family or Hospice Promise Foundation, in care of the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
