Bonnie Jones Greger, 93, formerly of Fulton, MO passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017.
Graveside service with full military honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton. Rev. Steve Mallinckrodt will officiate.
The family is being served by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal.
Bonnie was born on October 23, 1923, in Omaha, AR, the daughter of William Platt and Eula Alice (Pemberton) Jones.
She was united in marriage to Garland G. Greger on November 8, 1941, in Fulton, MO. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2010.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth and wife Robin of Hannibal, MO; two daughters, Cheri Modlin of Osage Beach, MO and Garnet Autenrieth and husband Dan of Ocean Springs, MS; sister-in-law, Mabel Jones of Portland, MO; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Greger was preceded in death by a son, Lynn Greger; son-in-law, Herb Modlin, brothers, Roy and Jake Jones and sisters, Hazel Finley and Dorotha Meinhardt.
Bonnie graduated from Fulton High School and went on to serve her country in the Navy WAVES during WWII. Professionally Bonnie worked at the University of Missouri Law School. She attended the First Baptist Church in Fulton, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Fulton, in care of the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel, 2619 St. Mary's Ave. Hannibal, MO 63401.
