Kaynell L. (Reynolds) Denham

Kaynell Lynn Denham, 77, of Hannibal, MO formerly of Prairieville, LA passed away at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Luther Manor Retirement and Nursing Center.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel of Hannibal.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Kaynell was born on April 21, 1941, in Baton Rouge, LA the daughter of Edward Williams and Myrtle Lucille (Hollingsworth) Reynolds.

Surviovrs include two children, Elise Rothwell and husband Randall of Hannibal, MO and Darren Coates and wife Alicia of Prescott, AZ; grandchildren, April Dunnington, Alexander Rothwell, Holly Brown, Archer Coates and Porter Coates; great grandchildren, Jayce, Lydia, Kiyara, Greyson, Donovan. Shane and Maximus.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Denham was preceded in death by one son, Donald Coates, Jr.

Kaynell had moved to Hannibal from Prairieville, LA a few years back to be closer to her family.   Her family cherished this time and enjoyed making the memories that will continue to be passed down through the family generations.

Kaynell was a crafty lady.  She was very talented in sewing, painting and making ceramics.  She had sewed several beautiful dresses over the years for daughter and granddaughters.  Kaynell also enjoyed traveling especially to any craft shows around.

Kaynell was a Baptist by faith.
