Michele Arch Obituary

Michele Lynn (Glascock) Arch, 54, of Hannibal, MO., passed away at 8:22 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Pastor Mark Burkey will officiate.

Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2017, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Michele was born in Dugway, Utah on June 9, 1963, the daughter of Kenneth Lloyd and Mary Jane (Foster) Glascock.

She was married to George Ray Arch, II on June 5, 2009, in Hannibal, MO. He survives.
Other survivors include her father, Kenneth L. Glascock and wife Karen; sons, Albert Niffen, IV and fiancé Megan, Justin Price, and stepson, George Ray Arch III; daughter, Sara Niffen (Ryan Jopling), and stepdaughter, Nicole Howes; sisters, Lisa Denise Stuenkel and fiancé Andrew Mosley, and Linda Sue Brocaille and husband Jon all of Hannibal, MO; granddaughter, Piper Dawn Marshall and one granddaughter on the way, Avery Michele Niffen. Michele also is survived by her mother and father-in-law, George and Ruth Arch, Sr., sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Mike Davis, several step grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Michele was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Foster Glascock, grandparents, Mildred Louise Foster, Samuel and Dora Glascock, and her previous husband, Albert Henry Niffen, III.

Michele graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 1981. She also attended 2 years of college at the Northeast Missouri State University, now known as Truman State University.

At a younger age, Michele attended Westside Christian Church. Michele was a member of Pinkie Pals, in which she cherished the friends and memories she made. Michele enjoyed listening to 80's music, cooking, crocheting, drinking coffee with family & friends and in several occasions, losing "big time" at a game of Scrabble with her son Albert.

Michele also took pleasure in caring for people with disabilities. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Michele was loved by many people and will forever remain in their hearts.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Glascock, Ryan Jopling, Tyler Brocaille, Steven Brocaille, Dylan Brocaille, Kyle Stuenkel, Gregory Daugherty, Austin Davis, Mike Davis, Christopher Shinn, Nathan Lamberson, Paul Holtschlag, Austin Martin, Jerid Huff, Jacob Gravett, Jordon Bridgman, Lynn Honts, Jacob Severs, Jhon Jhon McMillon Roger Bowen, Michael D. Roberts, Norman Nichols, Mark Ray, R.C. Faulkner and Joseph Vidal.

Memorial contributions may be made to the James E. Cary Cancer Center, or Hospice Promise Foundation, in memory of Michele, in care of the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
