Carol Glascock Obituary

Carol May Glascock age 73, of Hannibal Missouri passed away at home on Saturday, December 17, 2016, following a battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Bro. Gary Taylor will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, and from noon to 1:00 pm Wednesday, Dec 21, 2016, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Carol was born on December 30, 1942, in Hannibal, Missouri to Roy and Hilda (Lease) Ham. She graduated from Hannibal High School in 1960. She worked the "mother's shift" at Hardees for many years.

She married William (Bill) A. Glascock on February 26, 1982. He survives. She is also survived by her two children, Diana Spalding (Jim) of Lee's Summit, Mo, Keith Glascock (Kim) of Hannibal, Mo, stepson, Bill Glascock (Kathy) of Quincy, IL. Grandchildren, Lauren Spataro (David), Karen Hannaford (Scott), Paige Reigle (Branden), Cody Glascock, Holly Glascock, Heather Glascock, three great grandchildren, Peyton Hannaford, Braxten Reigle and Alten Reigle and one niece Darla (Rob) Gerner of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Ham, (Pat) of Rockwall, Texas.

Carol was a longtime active member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Hannibal. She sang in the Mark Twain Chorale for over 15 years. She loved boating and spending time on the water and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved her Father, family, friends and her church and she lived her life to the fullest. Carol will celebrate Christmas with Jesus this year and her greatest desire would be for you to know Him as your Lord and Savior.

Pallbearers will be Mike Newbrough, Bobby Parker, Mark Kilby, David Berry, Richard Huss, and John Northcutt.

Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, in care of the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
